Common questions

Is it free to post a work order?

Yes. Customers don't pay to post. A platform fee of 10% is taken from the technician's labour and approved change orders when a job is invoiced. Expense reimbursements are never charged a fee.

How do payment terms work?

The customer chooses payment terms when posting a job: due on receipt, or net 7, 14, 30, 45 or 60 days. Net 14 is the default. The invoice's due date is set from the day it's issued, and it's marked overdue after that.

What if the job needs extra work?

The technician adds each extra cost separately with an amount, a written reason and an optional photo. The customer approves or rejects each one. Only approved items go on the invoice.

How does GPS check-in work?

When a job has a location, the technician's device is compared with the site and must be inside the job's radius (300 m by default). If they check in from elsewhere, the customer sees the check-in as flagged.
